连续流砂过滤器的原理：
活性砂过滤器基于逆流原理。待处理的原水经进水管，通过位于过滤器底部的布水器进入过滤器。水流由下向上逆流通过滤床，过滤后的过滤液在过滤器顶部聚集，经溢流口流出。此过程中污水中的SS及TP被砂床截留。
过滤器底部截获污物的滤料通过空气提升泵被提升到过滤器顶部的洗砂器，通过紊流作用使污染物从滤料中分离出来，杂质通过冲洗水出口排出，净砂利用自重返回砂床从而实现连续过滤。洗砂废水经过专管排出。
